Whether someone is drifting towards a deficit, and how fast. The course matters more than any single reading.

Balance shifts with intake, medication, exertion and heat. Continuous measurement shows the direction of travel between appointments.

How much the body is having to work, including at rest. A demanding day registers as clearly as a demanding session.

The individual trajectory. A deviation from someone's own baseline carries more weight than distance from a population range.

What happens between two measurements.

Clinical protocols are effective. They encode decades of evidence. But by design they work with population-level data collected at discrete points in time.

A great deal happens between a blood draw and the follow-up, between a scan and the next appointment. That interval currently goes unobserved. The proposition is not to replace anything in that workflow, but to make the interval visible alongside it.

Every measurement sharpens the individual profile.

Because the measurement keeps repeating, a person is not assessed against a reference range from the literature but against their own baseline — which resting values are normal for them, how their recovery runs, what a meaningful deviation looks like for this particular body.

Where this could matter.

These are potential applications under investigation, not demonstrated clinical performance. Awareble is in development and is not a medical device.

Areas being explored include monitoring during oncological treatment between scheduled imaging, post-operative follow-up, metabolic disease, and care for older adults. In each case the same principle applies: continuous individual measurement can surface patterns that episodic, population-referenced assessment does not.

Establishing whether that potential holds requires clinical validation. That work sits ahead of us, not behind us.

Where we stand

The core principle has been demonstrated. The measurement principle has been shown in the laboratory; validation in real sweat is under way. After that it is roughly a year to the first bands on the body.
